Building Connections: Networking skills for any career path
Research shows that nearly 70% of jobs are found through networking, so how do you build meaningful professional connections? Whether through career events, informational interviews, or everyday professional interactions, there are many opportunities to connect with employers and alumni.In this workshop, you will learn how to confidently initiate conversations, practice and refine your elevator pitch, build genuine connections, and deepen professional relationships over time. We will draw on examples from a range of industries, including the life sciences and biotechnology, to make the strategies practical and relevant.
